In order for us to repurpose the flowers, we need to have a significant stem to either be placed in a vase or in oasis. We are happy to contact your florist, if information is provided.

Once received, a Petals Please volunteer will contact you. If your venue is in our service area, we will discuss how we can retrieve your flowers. Our preference is that they be held until the following morning to alleviate volunteers traveling late at night to pick them up. If you are outside the area that we cover, we will gladly accept your flowers if they can be delivered to our workroom. We ask that you discuss your donation with your florist and the venue coordinator. Be sure that the coordinator knows that the flowers are not to be thrown away.

Our volunteers will deconstruct your flowers and create lovely individual bouquets that will be gifted to residents of nursing homes, hospices, Meals on Wheels recipients, and other care communities. We do not “charge” brides for our service. We do, however, appreciate a donation to Petals Please to help with the expense of repurposing and delivering the flowers. A $100 donation is suggested. We are a non-profit organization that operates solely on donations. Your floral and monetary donations are tax-deductible.
