With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, love is certainly in the air! ❤️💗❤️Ashley Tyler and Robert McGowan tied the knot at The Ivy at Ellis Preserve

🌼🌼These beautiful bundles are the result of combined gifts from James J. Terry Funeral Homes, Donohue Funeral Home and DellaVecchia, Reilly, Smith, & Boyd Funeral Home. They were donated by the loved ones of Owen Mulhern, Margaret Bradley, Jane Gregor, Pamela Walsh, Gerald Hockzema, and Kathryn Newell and went to brighten days at Arbor Terrace Exton , Wellington at Hershey's Mill, Merrill Gardens at West Chester and Simpson Meadows, respectively. It is truly beautiful what happens when our neighbors come together with the shared vision of spreading love and joy to all. 🌼🌼 ... See MoreSee Less

Opportunities

Petals Please is successful because of our community. We partner with members of our community in various ways such as holding special events. The possibilities are unlimited, to see how you can be involved, consider some of the following opportunities.

Presentations & Demonstrations

Rotary Clubs, Garden Clubs, Chambers of Commerce, and Senior Living Communities have invited us to give a presentation on Petals Please. We share our Mission, History and Outreach while having a volunteer demonstrate the deconstruction of a large, donated piece and the creation or reimagined individual bouquets for gifting. Contact us to discuss presenting at your organization.

Group Workshops

Scouting groups, Sororities, and Church Youth Groups have come to our workshop and helped with our mission. Attendees can decorate cans, create bouquets and then can gift the floral creations.

Party with a Purpose

We have helped create events for birthdays, engagements, showers whereby guests create floral bouquets and gift them to Petals Please.

A Cup of Kindness

Volunteers from Petals Please have worked with classroom teachers in educating students on the joy of random gifts of kindness. Students create teacup and mug arrangements and choose a recipient who would be uplifted by their thoughtful gift.

Second Chance, Second Dance

Students in schools have organized events to collect bouquets at their formal school dances such as proms. Once the photos have been taken, beautiful flowers are often set aside and wilt away as you dance the night away! Imagine the joy they would bring if given a “second chance” when gifted to an elder. Call us to discuss how you can organize an event at your school and possibly fulfill Community Service requirements.
